Bashan Bible Teacher Certification Program

Welcome to the Bashan Bible Teacher Certification Program. The purpose of this program is to equip members with a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the present truth “hedge” doctrines which the Lord has given in the Shepherd’s Rod message. It is designed to provide a practical guide to enable students to be able to understand more intelligently the interpretations by the Spirit of Prophecy as found in the golden bowl of Zechariah 4. It is also designed with a view to seeing the students apply biblical principles more consistently in their lives, and to be able to more effectively teach the Shepherd’s Rod message to others.

In order to enter the program, you must currently hold a Certificate of Fellowship. To successfully complete this program, you must fulfil the following requirements:

• Complete a set of 20 studies on video, accompanied by 25 questions to be answered for each video. In addition to the 25 questions, you will be asked to give a written summary of the video study in order to demonstrate your understanding of the subject matter. A grade of 90% or better for each exam is needed to pass this part of the program.
• Complete either a four-day fieldworker’s training at Bashan or be available to go on two weekend missionary field trips (either consecutively or spaced apart) with a senior Bashan field worker.

There are no time constraints for the videos and questions so you can go at your own pace to complete them. As opportunities arise, you will be contacted to attend either a four-day training at Bashan or be asked to participate in two weekend missionary field trips. Upon your successful completion of the program, you will be awarded a Bible Teacher Certificate, and we believe this will enable you to more effectively sigh and cry for our Adventist brothers and sisters.
